Easter Darlings

Here they are the loves of my life. I can't get over how big my baby is. She is a poser too. She made me take about 10 different poses of her.

We had a great Easter. We were getting the Easter baskets all ready to hide Saturday night, and Alyson walks in our room. All of the goodies were right in plain sight. We told her that the bunny would be by later to hide it. She bought it. Dallas was the bunny, and he hid everyones baskets. It took the younger kids a long time to find them.

I told the kids they couldn't bring any of their candy to church. They didn't listen and smuggled it in anyway. Cole had all of his suit pockets full of jelly beans. Tori hid hers in her scripture case. My children, along with the other 40 children in primary were bouncing off of the walls.

I hope all of you had a great Easter, and that you spent it with the ones you love.

Great Easter photos!!! This year we tried something a little different. The Easter Bunny came on Friday night, so we did the whole candy thing on Saturday. The kids were so much better on Sunday. We used Sunday to focus on the Savior. We watched the cartoon version of the ressurrection with the kids, and had an Easter egg hunt with empty eggs...afterall, the tomb was empty. After the kids went to bed we watched The Lamb of God and talked about the Savior. It was such a great day. I think it was the most spiritual Easter we have ever had. We will definately do this every year.

What beautiful children! Easter is always an adventure trying to keep your kids from making themselves sick and driving you crazy with too much candy, yet letting them enjoy their treats! Church was crazy for us, as well!

You have darling kids!
I know all about church and candy. We made the same rule, however, the kids still managed to smuggle some in.

Oh the kids in our Primary were C.R.A.Z.Y!!!!! The music leader brought cookies and said, "I'm not sure I should give them to them...their poor parents." I told her if the parents sent their kids to US all hyped up, we could send them BACK all hyped up! ROFL

You're children are so beautiful! And I've never thought of hiding the easter baskets!
