The Letter Game

My blogger friend Stephanie Gave me the letter P to blog about.

Here are the rules: Comment on this entry and if you'd like to play, I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your blog, including an explanation of why you chose it, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.

Here goes!

1. Porter--I of course thought of this first thing, being that it is my maiden name. As a kid I got teased for having this name. Some of the good ones were "porta-potty" "a quarter for a Porter, a dollar a dozen" (there is 12 kids in my family) "po-po". Those are a few that come to mind. But, being that there was 10 boys, they were often referred to as the "porter boys" I Love my Porter Boys!

2. Pumpkin Cake, mmmmmm! I just started weight watchers, and I am having sugar withdrawals. Pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting sounds so good right now. My friend Nikki was the first one to introduce me to pumpkin cake. She has the best recipe.

3. Potty training. I thought the day would never come that all of my kids were potty trained. When my baby was born my other 2 were still in diapers/pull-ups. I have a dear sweet friend Karin, that I will forever be in debt to for taking Coleman for a week and potty training him. Now that is true friendship.

4. Popcorn. A must have for doing Weight Watchers. You can have a whole bag of 94% fat free kettle korn for only a couple of points. woo!

5. Positive thinking. I am trying so hard to think positive. I know that we can create with our thoughts. I just watched an amazing video called "the secret" Which is all about the law of attraction. I would recommend this video to anyone. It is one of those feel good, I can do anything I set my mind to movies.

6. Poppies, as in California poppies. They are my favorite flower, I just love their orange color, and they look so delicate and cute.

7. Papa. That is what my kids call my Dad, instead of calling him Grandpa. He is grand, but Papa is easier to say when they are little, and I love the way it sounds.

8. Post-Partum depression. That is what I had after I had Alyson. I now hate Tom cruise for all he has said about this subject. He is so full of.....well, you can fill in the blank. My heart goes our to all mamma's that have had to go through this very real, and very hard process. Thank goodness I have a wonderful dh that helped me through my ppd.

9. Pumpernickel. What a great word! I don't even think I have had pumpernickel bread before, but that word has always made me laugh.

10. Publish Post. Woo-hoo that is what I am going to do now. (lame I know, but I ran out of "P" words.

Let me know if you want to play along, and I will give you a letter.

Tom Cruise. Bleh. Don't even get me started on him. Used to like him. Can't stand him now.

Pumpkin cake sounds delicious. My mom makes a mean pumpkin bread, but I've never tried cake. Yummy!

Now, that is a great friend, for sure!! She could start a very lucrative business offering to potty train children! LOL!

I so *LOVE* pumpkin cake!

and I so DO NOT love Tom Cruise. PPD stinks enough without his stupid comments.

Pumpernickel is fantastical!

I hear MI 3 isn't doing as well at the box office as they had hoped. Apparently only men are going to see it, women are now so turned off by Mr. Cruise that they refuse to patronize his work. Well, logical consequences, you know?
