Wednesday---Or better known as: "Oh Where Oh Where are you Tyler"?

Wednesday is my sons P-day. Which stands for preparation day. That is the day of the week that he gets to do things like, laundry, grocery shop, play and have fun, and the most important of all... Email his family. I try to stick close to the computer on Wednesdays, in the hopes of catching my son when he emails. I have found that once he sends his letter if I hurry and write back, we can email back and forth for a few minutes.
Now, I wouldn't think he should do this with one of the many girls that write to him, but I think it's okay for me being his Mom.

I can't tell you how much I live for Wednesdays! To get to hear about his week, is the best thing ever. It can also be very frustrating when I wait, and wait, and wait and then get a one paragraph email. He is just not a man of many words some weeks. I have a nephew who is serving in Japan, and he is a man of lots and lots of words. I get jealous when I read the emails he sends to him family. I even forward those emails to my son, with a little hint saying. Look at the details Jon shares with his parents. He just doesn't get it.

None the less, here is it Wednesday, and I am trying to patiently wait for my weekly letter. Last week he did mention that for P-day they were going to Amish Country. So, I am sure that is why he hasn't written yet.
Which, also means, he will run over to the library to send off a quick email that will say something like...Sorry Mom I only have a minute, we went to Amish country today and we have a dinner appointment in a few minutes. Just wanted you to know I am doing good.

Oh well, It is fun to think about him all day once a week.

I hope he tells you ALL about Amish country. Hopefully he picks up a few recipes that you can pass on to us. You will hear from him soon. Don't you just love that Elders can send e-mails now?

He must be in PA. I LOVE Amish country (having grown up in NJ, it was a big deal for us to visit there.) When my daughter & son were on their missions they weren' allowed o e-mail. Sometimes it felt like forever between their letters....come to think of it, with my son, sometimes it was! I'm so glad I found your site today!

My mom complains about this very thing. We only get very short emails from my brother. It would be nice if he occasionally answered the questions we asked him. :)

Still though, they are doing what they are supposed to!

That's awesome that you get to communicate through email! How nice! So, was it a short or long(ish) email this week?
