What did we do before computers?

My computer crashed a couple of weeks ago.
I didn't realize how much I rely on my computer.

Of course Dallas had a huge report to do last week, so we made numerous trips to the library.
One more thing to add to my busy life. I missed having email, and being able to stay in touch with family and friends. It's nice to be back online.

Well, I am now a crazy working out of the home Mom. I started at the school and just finished my first full week. It went pretty well. The hardest part is trying to get everything done at home, that I use to do during the day. I am trying to juggle family, home, work and church. I hope to find a balance soon.

I am working in the first grade, and have 2 students that I work with through out the day. I also do clerical for 3 teachers and have playground duty for 30 very long minutes a day!

I got lucky and have a great teacher to work with. She is young and sweet and so easy going. The other I. A.'s (instructional assistants) have been so nice and helpful too. I think I am going to enjoy it there.
It is also great when I get to see one of my kids through out the day. I am on the playground the same time as Alyson. She brightens up my day.

One of the little boys I work with is a challenge, I have not been able to figure him out yet. I think I will enjoy the challenge though, and hope I can make a difference with him.

One more week and then we have a week off for Fall break! Not that it is fall here in
Arizona...Still sunny and 100 degrees. But it is cooling off a bit at night now.

Tyler is doing great, and does not need surgery at this time YAY! He is working hard, and the time is going by so fast. I am so proud of him.

Tori and Cole are busy with soccer. They are loving it, and doing very well. Just wish it wasn't so dang hot watching them play.

Alyson has adjusted to all day kindergarten, she loves her teacher and has made some little friends too. Her teacher told me that she has "lots of personality".

There is my little update--

What is new with you?

I so enjoyed your last blog entry (the first one I had read), that I was sad you hadn't reposted.

I am sorry about your computer. It is amazing how much we rely on them now.

We have Fall Break next week too. Enjoy yours!

Good to read your update, I'm so glad you are enjoying your work and to hear Tyler doesn't need surgery. Always easier that way. I didn't know they had full-day kinder in AZ.

~Cyl, who switched to beta and can't figure out how to comment with her username in regular blogger (how are you doing it, Char?)

Yay for no surgery at this time!
Yay for liking your job! I bet you're great at it. I think if we ever moved to AZ the hardest part for me would be the lack of fall weather during the month of October. Growing up in CO, that was the best! And since moving to CA 14 years ago, I've become accepting of the "fall weather" we get here. (more like 70-75, rather than 60, but it works for me!) Good to see you back online!!
