Moving is hard work. Even when it is a short move (2 miles) everything still has to get from one place to the other. And once it it there you have to find a place to put it.
We turned over the keys yesterday to our old house, and are almost all unpacked at the new house. The best thing about this house it all of the storage it has. The other house had none. I have empty cabinets in my kitchen, and empty ones in the laundry room too. It is so exciting to put everything in its place.
Now they fun begins with all of the remodeling and updating... I'll post before and afters as we get to the many projects.
And just for the heck of it... here is a link to the old place... I will miss it a tiny bit!

Woo! I wish I was there to help unpack/paint/whatever!
You don't know how bad I wish you were here too! I could use your decorating/sewing skillz!!
Yay for storage! It's so green- I almost got my hopes up that you had moved back to Utah.
It is so green!! I can't wait to come and see it, Jane. I'm coveting those trees already!

Thanks for visiting my blog. :o)
Is your new house in Mesa? It looks like a Mesa house. I love it! I so miss having mature trees and a big yard. Now I live in the sea on sameness out in Maricopa.Mark says were moving back to town, but I'm not willing until one more boy moves out. That way we can buy a single level house and not be squishy.
Good luck with your centerpiece. It really is easy to make.
That looks like a great house. And yay for that yard! How fun :) (Except the actual moving part)
Yay! How fun and exciting!
