I feel so LOVED

I am back from girls camp. It was a great experience, and I think it will be remembered by all that were there for a long time to come.

Every night when we would get back to our cabin I would have at least 5 messages from Aly, telling me how much she misses me, and loves me, and can I please come back home now.

When I got home, I found this on my car. It made my day!

I feel like my bucket was filled and I am rejuvenated. I came away with a greater love and appreciation for our prophets. Our theme for camp was "come listen to a prophets voice".

I think the one experience that will stay with me for a long time was during our morning devotional someone had shared some thoughts on the prophet Joseph Smith. As she finished she sat down and then there was a little pause. We all just sat there wondering if the devotional was over, and if we were to get up and leave, or what was going on. Then out in the woods we can hear someone singing. He gets closer and closer and a young man is singing "Joseph Smith's first prayer" He is dressed the part. He enters into the area where we are all sitting and sings all of the verses of this song to us. He sings it as Joseph would, singing "I saw the father and the son" It was very moving, and touching to feel of his spirit as he sang to us.

It is funny that in AZ they sing a lot of different songs than the ones that we would sing at camp in UT. It was fun to learn new songs, and I taught them a song from my camp days. The silly camp songs would run through my head as I was trying to sleep each night. "style the mullet, and let me see your funky chicken" to name a couple.

I do have to share a couple of pictures for the Askin girls... these are pictures of our Bishop. Bishop Askins was asked to be in the "Bishops Idol" contest. He was such a good sport and the girls just loved him! I don't think I will ever think of popcorn popping on the apricot tree the same again. All of the bishops sang this song, but had to sing it in the style of the costume that they were given. Bishop Askins was the king!

It is nice to be home, and now I can catch up on my sleep before we take off for our next adventure! We are getting excited for our trip to Utah, and Canada.
If anyone would like to add their prayers to mine that Colemans paperwork will all come through we would appreciate it. We are cutting it close for getting his passport and visa back in time for our trip.

Make today, your best day!

Welcome home, Jane! What a great 'welcome home' you got! That's precious! As for your Bishop...he's my neighbor and I'm not sure I'll be able to look at him the same way with a giggle or two!! Great photos! I am saying a prayer that all paperwork is processed quickly so that Coleman is good to go! Have a great time!

I just saw Dallas at Joe's tonight. He is so cute and so tall! Have a fun and safe trip to Canada.

The house is actually in my parent's ward so you will still see plenty of me.

Have fun and be safe!!!

Jane- you crack me up. First of all- my dad is crazy. Thanks for letting me see the pics he never told us about! Secondly- I love that you vented about the Bachelorette on my blog. I guess when watching- I tend to be a little more superficial! I have no pic for the new choices.
